Quitman County, Mississippi is located in the northwest corner of Mississippi near the states of Tennessee and Arkansas. The county has a population of approximately 8,000 people and is known for its beautiful scenery, with the land consisting of rolling hills, open pastures, and dense forests. It is home to fishing lakes and two state parks, Red Banks Nature Center and Archusa Creek Water Park. There are five towns within Quitman County: Marks, Belen, Lambert, Sledge and Crenshaw.
