Is it better to move to Arcadia, CA or to Round Ro - 9/21/2012

Hi, We live in the city of Los Angeles, a total nightmare for us who lived in Texas for more than 5 years. We have job offers in both Arcadia, CA and in Round Rock TX. We hear great things about Round rock but are concerned that if Dell, which is in losses now, closes, the area may fall into economic hardship, and there goes the great school district, etc with it. Great Green City - 7/23/2011

We like a neighborhood which has a lot tree and decent parks. Also, we prefer a place where are convient for restaurant, grocery, shopping mall, and library. Believe or not, you could have all of these reachable in 10 minutes by living in Arcadia. [more...]

Fair climate - 8/31/2010

Arcadia has fairly good weather except for a few extra hot summer days. Rainy weather has been less over the last few years, so a bit of a drought exists. Air quality has improved over the last 30 years but on some summer days the air quality can be less than desirable.[more...]

Good for everyone - 5/27/2006

What can say about Arcadia? Very good area for everyone.Good schools,I guess no crasy crimes (may be I've never heard... just regular stupid stuff),mostly sleeping area. No much entertaiment but mall with all good stuff is close Santa Anita Mall, also Race Park. Close to commute to LA and San Bernardino.If you got some $500000 to buy house do it and live good life. Absolutly no complains.[more...]
