Wims - 1/1/2013

I have worked at seven different elementary schools, not including my student teaching experiences, and Wintergreen by far surpasses them on every level. We are dedicated and professional. We also do what's in the best interest of the children. I would not work anywhere else.

Durham a great place? - 10/25/2012

Sounds like this is a great city . Change and Diversity are both good and are what makes America what it is today. Prior to having committed to relocating, perhaps you should have did a thorough check of demographics as well as any other concerns ...political, ethnic/social, religious, educational etc. that you knew were of importance to you. But really we all need to leave the profiling out of our daily viewpoints.

Hamden - 10/11/2009

It is a peaceful town, friendly people, lots of green (it has many parks), close to University of Quinipiac. We leave a block away from down town so we can not complain about confort when it comes to finding near by restaurants, pharmacies, supermarkets, coffie shops, etc.. We have been living in Hamden for two years and it will sad to leave it, but my job requires to relocate in Taunton, Ma. no later than first month of next year so it is a must. Any way, all we can say is that if you ever think of coming to live in this area of Connecticut, think about doing house hunting in Hamden.

Expensive - 11/22/2007

Hamden is a nice town. Not built up too much but the cost of living is expensive.

Hamden, a small New England town - 10/25/2007

Hamden is part of New Haven county. Yale University is located in New Haven along with other colleges. New haven offers many cultural things, it has several famous museums associated with Yale University, several theatres, a symphony orchestra and many other cultural venues. New England is a very picturesque place, with beautiful season changes. However, Hamden is an expensive town to live in, especially for retired people. It has high propery taxes and high state taxes.
