Population +/- 25,000. Neighborly. Good schools. Proximate to mountains, lakes, beach, Boston. Good road system. Good shopping. Separation of neighborhoods and businesses. Good regional airport option to Logan in Boston. Community very much into preserving open spaces. Property taxes high but no income tax and no sales tax.[more...]

| What's good about Londonderry - 5/2/2007
Londonderry is well known for it's apple orchards and has five orchards – Woodmont, Sunnycrest, Elwood, Moose Hill, and Merrill’s in North Londonderry Londonderry’s Apple Way, a designated New Hampshire Scenic and Cultural Byway, winds past orchards, old farmhouses and local landmarks. Like many towns developers are taking over open space and building houses but the town is trying to preserve as much as possible.
We have an active historical society, senior center and many playing fields for soccer, lacrosse, softball and football. Our High School's Marching Band the Lancers are wellknown having performed at events and locations throughout the country and have been asked to peform at the 2008 Olympics in China.[more...]
