Review of Oregon Ore,

"Oregon Is "O"verated!"
Star Rating - 2/18/2014
I am originally born on the East Coast. I never felt at home there. However.. being from the East Coast, I didn't want to head all the way South, because of how different the people are from the East and West Coast. I didn't think I would adjust or fit in. I always wanted to move to California, but had heard you don't just move there unless you can afford to move and live there. I almost bought a beautiful manufactured home up in Norther California (Colefax) area, not far from Sacramento or San Fransisco. I heard the weather all year long was "perfect". The deal fell through and I was now faced with a limited amount of time to move from WI., where I had lived for eight years. I did not want to fear tornado's or 3 feet of snow and a foot sheets of ice any longer after last winter. I grew up with snow and don't mind it now and again a few inches. Someone told me to look into RV rentals. I never heard of this being from the East Coast. Even the Mid West does not have the RV population which is extreme that Oregon has. Especially on the Coast. I found a great..."So I Thought deal for $350.00 a month. I just had to pay electric. Free water, sewer, trash and Wi Fi. I packed in the car and headed off to Florence Oregon with my two dogs.
Well.. now I regret it. I ended up in a bind once there. The beauty of the outside of Oregon and the trip there was breath taking. I admit this. The state does have its beauty that is for sure. However.. the constant never ending rain cycle is the cause of that beauty. There is a sign when you come into Oregon, "Enjoy Oregon Then Go Home" This is how the Oregonians are and think. The people here are standoffish, non trusting and had many times questioned my being there and trying to divert me back to the Mid West or East Coast. Many themselves are transplants, yet don't like outsiders moving there. They by far are not friendly people. The homeless population that you see and meth labs are many here. I know this from someone whom had experiences this on her property and when she went to the Sheriff to deal with it, they commented it is too wide spread here, we can't unless there is a fatality then they step in. The jobs here are not many and part time work is all that is offered. Snow.. can be brushed off. Rain drenches you. Snow adds to the beauty of your surroundings, rain does not. It makes for a miserable, dreary ugly day. My dogs hate it and they loved the snow and to play in it. Like kids do. Over here.. your stepping i
