I was born and raised in Hawai'i. Having traveled to and lived in many other large US cities, there is nothing quite like living in Hawai'i. Sure the cost of living is higher than the US average, but you cannot compare the year-round weather that doesn't include snow or 100+deg temps and lower-than average crime rate. If you can manage the higher living expenses, Hawai'i is truly paradise.
