Oceanside, California SperlingViews

Climate along the coast of Southern California (Oceanside is named correctly) stays fairly consistent year-round: warm, wet Winters and somewhat warmer, dry Summers. Spring and Fall are transitions between those two non-extremes. Even so, it is not unusual to see a native Californian wearing a parka and mittens because the temperature dropped to sixty degrees in December! Growing up back East with real four seasons, including ice and snow in Winter, I laugh when I see the parkas here.
