Scottsdale Culture summary in a nutshell~

I lived there for a year,being a transplant like most ..i moved from Albany, Ny.I loved Scottsdale, although the exaggerated pretentiousness of the locals at times got to me, but i still didn't mind taking there money as a Professional Barber there. Yes there is great deal of money there to be made in the beautification field and as a massage therapist you can do well just the same. Alot of people are willing to pay for the finer things in life there, if not to outdo the neighbors*.You will soon catch onto the local lingo of outsiders such as the word (snottsdale) too funny! but you will still appreciate the area for its amenities.. Boutiques are plentiful and shopping is fab,the dining was thee best! as a woman i had a ball there. Beautiful weather,hot and mild and sunsets are so relaxing,taking a trip up into the hills with the 11+ million dollar homes was also at times nice to admire. I couldnt help but appreciate the pristine landscape on a daily there as well, it's still the best in the country that i have came across. If your single i would say move there,The bar scene and club scene are very fun.and theres an array of cultural festivals and events. My husband and i since moved to San Diego for a new opportunity,but San Diego is way pricier(the Ocean) ,compared to Scottsdale. but i do miss Scottsdale alot,..either place i could live.
