Review of New York, New York

I Love NY
Star Rating - 12/16/2009
My mother lives in Ridgwood Queens, close enough to the L train for her to be able to make it into the city is minutes, but far enough from the craziness of city life to be able to sit back, relax and enjoy life's smaller pleasures. I grew up in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, along with mom, dad and my two biological and two adopted brothers. Growing up I thought Williamsburg was the entire world, and all those that lived outside of it would seem like total alliens to me. When my aunt moved to Ridgewood Queens in 1984, I was sure that I would never see her again. This was not so. Actually, I ended up loving the neighborly attitude of the people from this tight knit community so much that when my mother finally decided to move, I did everything in my power to put her in Ridgewood.

Once I saw that there were other neighborhoods other than Williamsburg in this great city of ours, I decided to venture out, explore, and fall in love with my entire city, one block at a time. I was 12 years old then. I am 37 years old now and I have fallen in love with neighborhoods in Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan and I am now starting to venture into the Bronx. There just isn't enough time in a life time for a person to experience EVERYTHING there is to see in NYC, but I am surely willing to try.

I love New York, with it's mix of people from all walks of life, and it's rich and unique New York culture (the real melting pot). I love NY because of the fact that I can go out and get Chinese, Italian, French, Sushi, a Deli sandwich, Curry, Dominican, Puertorican, South American, Polish, Russian, Indian, Arab, Mediterranean, fast food and fine quizine just minutes from my front door. I love NY because I can walk to a park and pick up a game of basketball, baseball, football, handball or slow it down with a game of Domino, Chess or Poker. I love NY because I can eat a 99 cent hot dog from Gray's Papaya while conversating with a multi-millionnaire. There truly is no other place like NY. I love NY so much that I've gone into the Real Estate Business just so that I can see it all first hand.

So, whether you are a New Yorker or a visitor, take some time to discover all that is our great city. I am a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson who is very familiar with the New York rental market. I am currently the Office Listing Manager at Big Deal Realty Inc., and we are looking for any and all listings in the Williamsburg, East Williamsburg, Greenpoint, Bushwick, Dumbo, Fort Greene, Cobble Hill, Clinton Hill, Prospect Heights, Bed-Stuy and East New York areas of Brooklyn, and Ridgewood, Middle Village, Maspeth and Glendale areas of Queens, and Mid to Lower areas of Manhattan. Both the Broker and I were raised in Williamsburg, with family scattered about in all surrounding areas of Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan, therefore we believe we are by far the best branch-out agents to help local owners reach full capacity in their buildings. I myself am 37 years old (not a freshman in the business) and I’ve been a New Yorker my entire life. If you need any help renting out apartments, commercial spaces, lofts, mixed-use spaces, etc., please feel free to call me or email me.

We also have an excellent Sales Department at our office so if you are looking to purchase or sell any properties in the areas mentioned above, please call or email me as well.
