Review of Macon, Georgia

Macon is dying
Star Rating - 9/24/2006
This city has nothing - well, it has abundant crime, horrendous public schools, tremendous poverty and political corruption. If you find three Wal-Marts to be indicative of culture, then you might like this cesspool. The weather is nice, though, when it's not too hot or threateningly tornadic. But there is a church on every street corner and a ton of preachers, people go there on Sundays before they hit the Waffle House and the Super Wal-Mart. Woo hoo. Stay far away from this place, far away. Those of us here are either stuck or trying to get out.
