Review of Denton Te,

Surviving the heat
Star Rating - 8/9/2008
Denton has mild winters and unpredictable springs. The summers can be long and hot. Temperatures usually stay the mid to upper 90s from June through early October, but we hit the 100s most years for several days. August can be a bear. The autumns are very nice, though.

Because of the climate and topography, it is a grass-lands area. Oaks do well here, but it is not much of a green area. Lawns have a tough time making it through the summers without browning.
