| They are really updating the North end and the very South end of Garland by the lake. They have added new stores, a mall, and plenty of eating places in the last year. There are also plans of extending the George Bush Tollway all the way from North Garland, thorugh Rowlett, and over to the South end of Garland, tying it into I30. That will really make commuting a lot easier. For years though, Garland was happy to just stay "as is" so it is nice to see some changes finally come.
