relocating, more info? - 4/15/2007

My husband took a job in Bluffton & we are considering a move here because of the schools. I am a little concerned about the crime statistics, they seem to be high for a rural area can any one expalin that? Also, I am trying to decide if it is really better to be in South Effingham near Marlow etc.. instead of Rincon Ebeneezer area. I am moving from a mid size city so this will be an adjustment for me. How many fire stations, police stations etc... are in the area, & what hospital do people go to for major surgeries or level one tramas? Any insight would be greatly appreciated regarding quality of life etc... THANK YOU![read more...]
