Mount Dora, Florida is an active community for retirees. Amid the hills, it appears to be a New England village or a thriving midwestern town. It has a wonderfully unique business district with gift shops and antique shops. There is the largest lawn bowling club in the country with friendly members from all over the country and the UK. Golf courses are within easy travel. The weather is wonderful during the winter months. It is a great place to be part of the grassroots of a community.
