GOOD CITY FOR RETIREMENT

We have lived in Sarasota, Florida for sixteen years. We left Memphis, Tennessee in 1992 to retire here. I believe it is one of the beautiful cities in the US. To really enjoy Sarasota you need enough income to live near the water on St Armands, Lido, Bird Key or one of the other areas where you find pricey homes. The cost of living here is probably much higher than other places especially Taxes, Insurance, groceries, restraurants etc. If we could find another city with comparable weather and senic beauty we would move for a lower cost of living.
