Review of Nashville-Davidson, Tennessee

Good areas for urban dwellers to live in Nashville
Star Rating - 6/13/2007
My opinions are professionally unqualified so please do your own research.

We live in the 100 Oaks area. Nice place. Very close to just about everything that a city dweller would want. Pretty good schools (something that Nashville is not well known for).

Our dream neighborhood would be the Hillsboro/Vandy area. Obviously, close to Vanderbilt Univ. Great shopping and things to do within walking distance. Very good schools. Expensive and prone to traffic congestion. I would still live there (and may someday) regardless. Top notch.

We used to live in the Sylvan Park area. Nice older established area. Close to downtown. I don't know about the schools. House prices are starting to rise. Had some crime issues when we were there, nothing violent but still something to consider.
