The median price of a single family home has to be about $800K now. The good news is that the schools are great and being next to the Pacific is dynamite. The beaches are wonderful, with some scenic cliffs, great parks, and enough local shopping. Very little crime.

The down side besides hosuing costs is that most jobs are at least 15 miles south on Highway 5. A tough commute. It is getting more and more crowded. People want to live in nice places.
