Nashville-Davidson, Tennessee SperlingViews

The weather here is truly depressing. Since I moved here last June it has been unbearably hot in the Summer and utterly dismal in the winter, with one decent day about every ten days. It snows just enough to make it nasty - and when you combine that with the traffic and Tennessee drivers - getting anywhere is frustrating and difficult. MUSIC CITY my butt!!!!!!!!!!!! I moved here from Tampa/St. Pete - which has more venues and better talent than Nashville will ever have. Nobody REALLY big comes here. Once you get over the initial BS about the "vibe" - it's just another big-small town with a lot of pollution, bad roads and ignorant politics - not to mention a newspaper that only a person with a VERY limited vocabulary could ever enjoy - an art scene that is utterly pathetic - and last - architectural character that has no character - when the most important public building in a city is that silly looking "batman" building - not to mention, neighborhood after neighborhood of overpriced developer houses for the masses. I would even venture that they have better REAL country music in Austin. Bottom line - NAshville SUCKS!!!!!!!!!

Ya, he's angry but he also came to Nashville during the hottest summer on record. I also came from Tampa/St. Pete and the people in Nashville are much friendlier. Downtown Nashville is alive where Tampa/St. Pete is dead after 6pm. Nashville's housing hasn't tanked like Tampa/St. Pete. I can't see how he thinks Nashville's developments are overpriced after leaving Tampa/St. Pete's housing bubble (I made quite a nice profit before the buble burst down there). His only points may be the Conservatives and 50's architecture. Oh, and why doesn't Nashville has as many "venues" then Tampa/St. Pete...the musicians live here, duh.
