I lived my entire life in Orange County, CA. There's very few places in the world in which you can be on the Ski Slopes in 1.5 hrs on a Saturday and on Sunday only drive 15 minutes to the beach to body surf some awesome waves.
I'm surrounded by great restaurants, theatres, night life, recreational activities, etc, etc. The only thing you need to maintain is money. But, there's plenty of industry here as well.
