Top notch library and restaurants. Interesting shops. Dozens of great walking trails. Sailing and kayaking at town harbor. Commute to Boston by boat. Real estate values and resultant taxes are steep.

Hingham South Elementary School - 5/4/2013

School was recently refurbished and known for excellent quality instruction. In addition, Hingham Schools are willing to provide special services more willingly to special needs kids than other districts.

A Great Place to Live - 4/26/2011

Hingham, MA, is a truly wonderful community. Based about 15 miles south of Boston, it is easily commutable by train or commuter boat. It is on the coast, with a lovely and active harbor. Founded in 1635, it has many lovely antique homes as well as new construction. It is a family-oriented community with a strong school system. All in all, a wonderful place to live.
