| I moved here several years back from the west coast. I just hate the area and the schools. But I feel the street people mentality is the worst I have ever seen. It’s like living among a community of drug addicts. Petty crime seems to be the only form of entertainment for the young and alcoholism seems to be the way of the older generation. The unemployment is high and the job wages are low. Local government says that the economy is growing; yet there are 19-20% of the residents living below the federal poverty guidelines. I feel that Canton is a places to run from.
