| a good place to live in many ways - low crime, good location - but the school/property taxes are extremly high and will continue to rise in the years ahead due to a large bond issue sold earlier this decade to build a new high school. property itself is expensive, too, due to proximity to new york city. in other words, despite all its plusses, the area is very pricey when it comes to property and taxes.
