small vs. Large. Can you compare? Single out what is best? How about, no traffic, here to there under 5 minutes, knowing your neighbors, and just the feel of belonging. Verus, 20 minutes to get your 5, another 20 just to get to the onramp, seeing your neighbors garage door close, everyday, and being or feeling lost.
Yeah, you can compare. The only downside of this little town, is to get to the Mall is a 15 minute commute.... [read more...]

| Affordable housing, limited shopping - 9/22/2006
Galt has turned into a bedroom community for larger valley cities. The cost of a home is considerably less than Elk Grove or Lodi. However, there are not a lot of options when it comes to shopping. Families have to travel outside of Galt if they want to shop at a major retailer.[read more...]
