This area is better known as Co-op City and is at the latter section of the I-95 route that travels from New Jersey through New York then Connecticut and the New England States.
Although still very much a city atmosphere, it still provides some solace at the end of a work day. There are areas within the 5 sections where one can sit and enjoy an evening breeze with minimal distractions. In the early mornings (weather permitting) you will find many residents walking, running or bicycling around the greenway. While still not a utopia, it provides an atmosphere that people living in the inner city areas pay a premium for at an affordable price. There is ample shopping of every sort, well ranked restaurants for take out and sit-down meals in a family atmosphere along with exercise and entertainment (movie theater) all within the community. A well stocked public library and several churches and temples for worship of most faiths round out the community.
