Crime Rates

The crime rates reflected here are not accurate. It would appear that they may be based upon crime rates in the nearby cities of Beaumont and/or Port Arthur. I have lived in Port Neches for 5 years and remember possibly 3 violent crimes taking place over the entire time we've lived here. This is one of the safest, most relaxed and completely enjoyable communities to live in. The school district here is one of the top in the state and my kids have not only done well but are also very happy with their classes! We LOVE it here and would recommend it to anyone!
