Parks are Beautiful, but it can get hot

I moved here three years ago and still have not found one friend. It is difficult to find friends in this city. If you are young and have children and grow with your children through sports and the school system, then you have a good chance making friends through them. If you work you can make friends through your job. As an older adult (55+) and you move here later in life, then so sorry - all the friends are taken. You can try church, but only once a month is about all you will see these so called friends for a dinner or an outing. Or maybe once a week while entering or leaving the church. If you like the solitude, then it might be ideal for you. It is hot during the summer months ( 90 +). I'm used to a cooler climate. Maybe in time I will adjust to this different way of life. People tend to have their lives all set and seem not to want to make anymore friends. I won't saw people aren't friendly. They are very friendly and will help you if you need help and the parks are beautiful.
