| Cranston is a fine place to live with a great range of home prices and rents. Good schools, culture, recreation, and located close enough and far away enough from Providence. Home prices can be high. However the reasonable can be found. Property taxes high, but so are the surrounding cities and towns. Cranston is not wothout its pros and cons.

I've lived in Rhode Island my whole life and i have something to say its one of the safest and relaxing place to live. we have one of the best education system in New England. theres so many activities to do especialy for those with a family. you'll never be bored. Theres great weather if you like warm summers and cool winters.summers is all about swimming in the pool with friends and family,getting a tan or making sand castles at the beach,and lets not foreget those great barbecues in your backyard. the winter is full of sleding, and drinking hot chocolate, and then when you least expcet it.... A SNOW BALL FIGHT. Rhode Island is full of fun... you just have to find it.[read more...]

Public Transportation is scary here. The state is built for people that only own cars. There are so many places that don't have a bus line to get to. Limiting people on getting work in those areas.[read more...]

The cost of living is getting to be too much for my family of 5. Oil bills and real estate only keep going up, while wages stay the same. I want to move South. HOWEVER, Cranston IS a great place to raise a family. Safe and close to everything like malls, hospitals, colleges, etc.[read more...]
