Very difficult during most of the year. It can be humid and hot. Many afternoons during rainy season there are thunder storms. An a/c is imperative. The most enjoyable time of the year is during winter calm weather and ideal temperatures, but what a price to pay. [read more...]

| Mayor and staff - 10/15/2010
The mayor of North Miami is not involved. Raised monies for help in Haiti and then months after the collections ask the residents "what to do with the money" Where is the leadership and any type of plan of action? And when getting in my car to go to City hall......I had to lean thru the barn door to speeak with his "assistant".....She did not even stand up from her desk to address me as a human being. And she sits outside his office to respresent the Mayor and the city??????? Somebody needs to remind her that the unemployment rate in North Miami is 11.8%.....She is working Monday thru Friday NO nights, NO weekends and PAID holidays inside a climate control office. To say that she needs an attitude adjustment is an under statement....The whole operation needs an overhaul. Lucky that we live in a country and at least the mayor can either be voted in or OUT.....[read more...]
