Review of Lexington Park, Maryland

cost of living
Star Rating - 4/23/2006
a thriving, recession-proof Navy base coupled with suburban commuters from Washington and "smart-growth" social government policies have conspired to put housing costs out of reach for first time single-income home buyers - good news if you want to sell and leave the area - our house will probably net us $150K on an original price of $175K in 1999. And our house is a starter home! Many other homes are selling in the $400-$600K. And forget about owning on the water.
