| a nice place to live use to be a big retirement community but that is changing do to lack of housing for younger families not as pricey as coral springs public school are still some what decent housing cost well if your new to florida have a sit for sticker shock if not for the price and the area its not so bad i would recommend something east of university drive

Tamarac is just north of Fort Lauderdale. Although a very nice area,like everywhere else in South Florida, housing costs have climbed over the last 2 years.
