Small Town Feel...Good Community - 12/30/2009 |

| Piscataway has easily one of the most serene communities that you can live in. It is relatively safer than most parts of NJ & houses are reasonably large for the money you pay. Only pain point is the commute to NY can be cumbersome if it is a daily trip :)

Many large pharmaceutical and financial corporations are tucked away on corporate campuses. Good schools, churches, and community services. High property taxes and cost of living that must be a trade off against the educational, professional, and cultural experiences that enrich it's residents. When the time comes to desire a slower pace and fewer souls per square miles, one can look to locations only 3 or 4 hours away. This has been one of the most challenging, humbling, and enriching places I've ever worked or lived. If you long to be "in the thick of it", the viscosity of Piscataway will engage all you've got.[read more...]

| Quality of Life - 7/16/2007
New Jersey is not the place for anyone who can't make a salary of $100,000 a year. The taxes are outrageous. The cost of everything has become absurd, laughable really. There's no such thing as "open space." Every possible piece of property that hasn't yet been built on will be dug up for housing or more business buildings that eventually will stand empty. This is not a town for retirees. The medical profession treats the elderly like they are lab rats. And as for those under retirement age, the medical profession treats you like you make $100K a year.[read more...]
