Denver, Colorado SperlingViews

I am considering relocating to Denver, CO. I am a single parent with an 11 year old son. I have been hearing good things about the Wash Park area. Does anyone have infomation regarding the schools around this area? Private or Public? Cost of living? Is that very close to downtown? Are there a lot of drugs there? Drinking? etc.

Any feedback would be greatly apprecaited.

Sorry I don't know statistics to voice much of an opinion about schools or drugs in area but it is an area where a lot of people take pride in their homes and a lot of old homes are being redone into very beautiful remodels.My advice (because i believe you will love this city) is to move out and rent in an area you might like to make your home and see for yourself first hand also check out neighboring areas to refine an area just perfect for you and your little man.
