We moved to Moraga a bit over 10 years ago from Great Falls, Virginia and have never regretted it. The schools are excellent, the crime rate is virtually non-existant, the climate is wonderful and the people are super friendly. The town is bounded on the South by a large reservoir and public lands; on the West by public lands; on the North by Orinda, another small town of similar character; and, on the North and East by Lafayette, a somewhat larger town with a number of shops and good restaurants. This is the nicest place I've ever lived. Close to the big City but far from the hustle and bustle. Strong sense of community. Friendly people.
Moved here 15 years ago from Fremont, CA. Big step up.
