I have lived in Bullhead City off and on for about 3 years total. This time I am leaving and not coming back. The only quality of life here has to be bought. As long as you have money to gamble over in Laughlin, or money for expensive water or off road toys, you will have a good quality of life.
But if you are a middle class working person, don't even think of moving here. The only real employment available is in the Laughlin casinos. If you judge by work environment and pay, their people are slaves, not employees.
No night life, no arts or entertainment. Most people here could not afford them if they were available. However, if your idea of quality of life is working at a dead end job, 130 degree summers, and a 6 pack of generic beer, by all means move here!
