Good connection to San Francisco or San Jose or any city in between via Caltrain or bus.

| City pairs, recommendation for a one-earner equiva - 1/31/2010
My 14mo daughter, wife and I live in Menlo Park, CA which is approximately half way between San Francisco and San Jose. To afford an upper middle class quality of life we both have to work. As we plan for our family we wonder what place is most like Menlo Park but could be afforded with only one income.
For us, climate, affordable housing, access to outdoor activities followed by jobs and access to airports are what is most important to us.
Can anyone recommend a one-earner equivalent to the SF-bay area?[read more...]

Menlo Park, CA
Nice to place live and raise a family. However, real estate is outrageously over priced. You really won't find a well built house for under $900,000. If you plan to move to the Bay Area, do a lot of research and make sure you have a stable income/job.[read more...]
