Huntington, West Virginia Economy - 4/14/2006

The economy in Huntington is struggling to survive actually. The gap between the very wealthy and the lower income families is quite significant. It seems like the upper income is in control of the economic well being of the community and that of course makes the gap even larger. My worry is that the city is rapidly declining due to unemployment and the "leaders" can't seem to figure out what to do to make it turn around.
