Turlock, California SperlingViews

I was born and raised in Turlock, along with the majority of my extended family. Most still live here. Growing up, it seemed like a good place to raise children and live. There is a four-year university (CSU Stanislaus) that is gorgeous and a nice big park with a lake (Donnelly Park) that has about a mile radius for running/walking. It is a family community that has grown tremendously since I was little, but it's still a nice place to live. A lot of people live here and commute to the bay area (70+ miles) because it's cheaper here. I moved away four years ago and would probably move back if the opportunity allowed. Mostly because my family is there, but it is a decent place.
