| All I know about Beverly Hills, CA is from the TV show "Beverly Hills 90210" and I never even watched the show.
I have driven in BH and it is a very nice community with lovely houses and clean environment (except for air pollution). However the impression I also get from this place is that the people here are snobish and think they are above everyone else. How did I come to this impression? Well when I drove through BH I asked someone for directions, but she looked at me weird and stated, "Do you belong here?". That said it all.

| Air quality is poor and club scene isn"t "****" - 3/11/2010
I have been here in Southern California since 1969 and am 43 years old. Since the beginning of the last decade I Have seen our city go to hell!!!!! My home of 40 years isn't recognizable as of year 2000.I mean the culture here now is isolation and I don't mean the splendid kind--ha ha!! If I had kids I wouldn't bring them to L.A.!! Even for a visit...Most people living here now are not from here and people like me living in L.A. in 2010 are treated like a novelty and a freak. I have a lot of trouble communicating with and relating to anyone here in L.A. these days...??? And I have been here 40 years!!!!!Go Figure?!?!?! Most of my friends are mentally ill and the sane friends I do have are my family and a few friends---I mean few.......I hope i am not the only one out there in this city of toxic air and greedy dog eat dog people-- in this place. The airplanes pollute the air here 2-3 times a week probably because these high flying aircraft don't have catalytic converters or something. I think everyone here has some type of respiratory illness and my friends 3 year old can't even breath right. Use an ionizer for the bad air and take your vitamins if you are going to live here.
