Review of North Pole, Alaska

Beautiful Interior Alaska
Star Rating - 5/12/2009
I have lived in Alaska for 14 years now. The first 2 were in Anchorage. Anchorage and its surroundings are gorgeous, but I prefer the solitude of Fairbanks and vicinity. I live in North Pole, Alaska.. and yes, there is a Santa Claus. I can see him most days at his house just down the road from where I live. As far as the area goes, it's an amazing place to live. The cold is beginning to get to me and my body. As a disabled Vet, it's getting harder to get around when it's -50 and colder. :(
