I am realtor in Elmont and the majority of my buyers are young couples and young families who are moving into the area because of the quality of life here and proximity to New York City. The schools, and numerous neighborhood activities for children are other reasons why Elmont is such a desirable area. I personally love the new multi- service libraby that has recently been constructed.

The community. - 7/31/2009

This is a quiet tree lined community. I have lived here 22years and I can see the change that is taking place. It seem to be more of a western Carribean community at this point. The neighbors are friendly. I would recommend the is place to raise a family. The school system is excellent, that includes elementary as well as the high schools in the area.[read more...]
