I would say quality of life here is pretty good. If you stay away from US 19, you are fine. Generally speaking, Trinity is a good way away from it (10 minutes). The roads are clean, the Publix grocery stores are beautiful with helpful people. A lot of new restaurants, Bonefish, Outback, Buffalo Wild Wings and a short under 20 min drive to Citrus Park Mall. 30 minute drive to beautiful Dunedin Causeway and 45 to Clearwater. Lowry Park Zoo, Busch Gardens, MOSI, Florida Aquarium, Westshore mall, Raymond James, Dali Museum - everything under an hour away.
Lots of churches to choose from, and the people in the area are not low class like downtown New Port Richey. Two different places all together.
Little Road isn't crowded.
and Starkey Park is a great place for a camp out or a nature walk.
Housing prices are great for buying or renting.
Yes, it got hit hard by the downsliding economy but it will come back like the rest of the country.
I believe it is relatively safe, if you check the "sex offender" list, there isn't much in Trinity. 2 miles is the closest offender to my house.
Overall, I guess you could live closer to "the beach" but for the cost of living, it's worth the bit of an extra drive.
