I lived in Longmont for 30 years, and was glad to be able to move. Longmont is a town where you are either very prosperous, or you are very poor. There is no in the middle. The crime rate stinks, the schools really need an overhaul, and the welfare system needs a makeover. I do have to admit, the Ciry of Longmont does work hard at maintaining a clean, homey, comfortable town, although, appearance is not everything...
