Review of Kansas City, Missouri

Quality not Quantity in KC
Star Rating - 4/16/2009
I just found this website and was shocked when I read a posting that KC has weird, strange, unfriendly people and nothing to offer. This is certainly one isolated opinion from a jaded person who didn't open themselves up to the art crawls, BBQ competitions, Jazz and Blues, and incredibly friendly trusting, helpful people (and what few street people we have are courteous and respect your boundaries). I've interviewed in other cities and haven't been drawn to leaving the comforts KC has to offer especially now with $6 billion being invested in downtown with it's new Sprint Center and Power & Light entertainment district. Yes, we don't have the scale of big cities like St. Louis and Chicago, but we also don't have the crime and high costs. Come be surprised.
