My husband & I recently relocated to Round Rock, Texas which is 20 minutes north of Austin. We lived in New Orleans prior to coming to the Lone Star State. We actually live in Round Rock which is 20 minutes north of Austin. It is close enough to the city and Round Rock is safe with friendly, well-educated people and a great school system. The people here are laid back and home prices are quite reasonable. You do get a lot for your money in terms of real estate.
The atmosphere is quaint and unique. Plus we are just minutes away from small towns worth a day trip which we take on weekends!
