Life in Carefree is definitely free and easy. Part Cowboy and part resort there is peace and quiet all around. If you love the old west than you are in the heart of it while only being a short distance from all the advantages of the big city.[read more...] |

Transportation - 9/3/2008
Carefree, Arizona is a lovely place to live. It is at a higher altitude than so it is usually a few degrees cooler than the neighboring cities of Scottsdale and Phoenix. The one negative is that there is no public transportation of any kind here which can be problematic for an aging person who no longer can drive.[read more...] |
