Beautiful community; friendly people - 5/23/2010
We've been searching different areas for about 10 years for a place to retire. Accidently stumbled on to Fairfield Bay, and fell in love with it. This is a beautiful well-kept community with very friendly people. Stunning scenery, two gorgeous golf courses and one of the most beautiful lakes we've run across. There is also horseback riding, nature trails, miniature golf, open-air vegetable market, two beautiful swimming pools, fitness center, bowling alley and a very active Lions Club. A bit out of the way, but only an hour to Little Rock for major shopping and cultural activities; we feel like Fairfield Bay may very well be one of Arkansas's best kept secrets.[read more...] |
