Downtown has an eastern college feel - 6/14/2012
I go to downtown every weekend and it has an eastern college feel where it is accepted by the college students to be eccentric. Friday nights have a numerous bands on the streets. Claremont is a Great Place to Live and Visit - 11/3/2009
For being in the center of Los Angeles, Orange, and San Bernardino counties, Claremont has a small town feel that is unique. Its downtown district features eccletic shops and great dining. The tree lined streets and historic architecture lend it a charm unlike any Southern California city. Not to mention it is home to the prestigious Claremont Colleges.
