Colton Gets a Bad Rep. - 10/19/2007
My husband and I moved from Baltimore/D.C. a year and a half ago. Even with owning a home back east sticker shock set in here. We bought a home in Colton verses what some might consider more desirable Grand Terrace and Loma Linda. Despite the reputation we have found Colton to be fine. Our neighborhood is culturally diverse and more and more educated people are coming to the area. Now that we've been in Colton for several months all the rumors of high crime and bad schools have been dispelled. I'd caution against the historical area of Colton but there is always talk of revitalization in the future.[read more...] |
