qualtiy of life in foothill ranch - 2/22/2008
I have lived in the OC all of my life and in foothill the last 7 years. Foothill is in the hills of South orange county. It is a the end of a the road- so not many are "passing thru". You either live there or know someone who lives there. Crime is low and outdoor activities are abundant. Mountain biking, hiking is right behind the house. The schools are blue ribbon. Abundant shopping is across the street. I never have to leave Foothill on the weekends as everything is here- movie theaters, restaurants, bars, market, department stores etc. Of all the places I have lived Foothill Ranch has to be one of my favorites. Worth Every Penny! - 6/29/2007
Gave up a lot of "luxuries" to buy a house here...but it was totally worth it! Raised nearby (in Lake Forest), I purchased my first home 2 years ago after I graduated. Couldn't afford a home here, so I bought one in Corona. After my car got broken into TWICE, and I heard gunshots...I knew it was time to go! Foothill Ranch is an absolutely PERFECT community to raise a family. No crime, friendly neighbors, community activities, local shops, and if you are into mountain biking or hiking then this place is HEAVEN! People may say its "too hot"...but coming from 100+ temps in Corona, I welcome the 90deg highs in the summer ;) Those are perfect days for the beach (which is only 15-20 minutes away. If you are single and looking for the "night life," Foothill Ranch is not the place. If you are looking to start a family you'll never want to leave.[read more...] |
