This is an awesome, old-school, unpretentious, classic California beach town. But, ssshhhh...don't tell anyone. I've lived in several nice Cali. beach towns but this whole central coast area is the best, in my opinion. Unspoiled natural resources AND unspoiled. average people living their lives. Plenty to do, close enough -but far away enough - from L.A. to get to major events. It is SOOO beautiful for hundreds of miles around here. Decent job base. Housing costs better than most of Cali beach areas. Wish I'd gotten here sooner.[read more...] |
